Draper Tools began life in 1919, foundeded by Bert Draper, he sold tools and governement surplus equipment in around the markets surrounding Kingston Upon Thames. The success of market trading led to Bert purchasing it's first warehouse, trading under the name of B Draper & Sons this is where the Draper Tool Company was born. In 1963 control of the company passed to Norman. Norman is largely responsible for the Draper brand image we know today.
